The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shariu2019ah compliant banking. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • Line manager - To receive direction and support, discuss performance and ensure objectives are met.
  • To discuss service, sales, business development plans and strategies, and obtain authorisations.
  • Internal stakeholders - To complete credit applications, seek approvals for transactions and ensure turnaround times (TATs) are met and to plan special products, discuss market penetration and coordinate product offerings.
  • Customers - To strengthen existing relationships, source new business and to understand the customeru2019s business requirements.
  • Relationship management - Manage the action of customer requests, responding to VIP customersu2019 needs, complete sales and service activities and ensuring complaints are resolved satisfactorily in order to build long-term customer relationships and support revenue generation.
  • Policies, processes, systems and procedures - Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Self-management - Manage self in line with the banku2019s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure effectiveness.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in banking
  • Bacheloru2019s degree in business administration
  • Problem solving skills
