JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is one of the leading MEP Contractors in the region, looking to hire a Sr Safety Officer to join their team ASAP.
- Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on site projects or workplace and design risk mitigation measures.
- Develop all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the HSE Management
- Promote construction safety awareness through inductions, training, inspection and promotions.
- Assure compliance to standards.
- Assist in investigation all incidents/accidents and report accordingly.
- Assure implementation of the Training Program, HSE Plan and Permit to Work System.
- To prepare statistical data and prepare performance indicators for managements review.
- Demonstrates an excellent safety behavior and attitude, follows regulatory practices and rules, recognizers and promotes hazards reporting and ensures effective safety reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in any field and /or related to HSE
- Must have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in HSE management & control system.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years in MEP Construction projects
- Must be independent, resourceful, and good team player.
