JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a leading recruitment solutions provider in the Middle East, is urgently looking for a Senior Software Developer (React Native) to be based in Dubai. In this role, you will be managing a team and lead the migration of the company’s applications, manage the DevOps and perform code reviews.
Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Lead in defining and coding the new and ongoing company applications
• Continuous improvement of existing development tools and technologies
• Authoring and code-reviewing web applications in Java, JavaScript frameworks
• Design new system features and provide accurate estimates and development timelines
• Lead technical design sessions in order to create sustainable and high-performing features
• Continuous interaction with clients and end-users to understand software needs and talk through the application and technical design choices.
• Defining and maintaining standard development practices for the team
• Integrating automated testing strategies into development practices
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following non-negotiable criteria:
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineer or other technical discipline.
• Fluent and confident communication skills with both team members and end-users
• Has 3+ years of experience using React Native
• Must be well versed in the following: PHP, Docker, Angular
• Candidates must be able to join immediately or less than a month.
