Senior Sous Chef

Employment: Full Time

The newest luxury lifestyle dining restaurant serving authentic Uzbekistan and International cuisines with a lounge and bar is currently looking for a Senior Sous Chef based in Dubai, UAE. In this role, your responsibility would include but not be limited to the following:

• Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Lead and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure that all food products are of the highest quality and meet food safety standards.
• Develop and maintain standard recipes to ensure consistent quality and portion control.
• Oversee inventory management and ordering of food and kitchen supplies.
• Assist in menu planning and development, including creating new dishes and adjusting recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment maintenance and proper storage of food products.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations, and recommend new ideas to improve kitchen operations.


To be considered for this role, you must fit the following criteria:

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred, but not required.
• At least 3 years of experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred standalone restaurant
• Proven leadership and management skills, including leading and motivating a team.
• Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house staff, and management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands: The Senior Sous Chef may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot and noisy environment. They may also be required to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
