JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The candidate will be exposed to capital management, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, valuations and due diligence. In addition, the candidate will assist the VP, Strategic Initiatives & Business Development to implement bank facilities and structured finance transactions.

Description

* Monitor market trends and evaluate company financial data and assist business development VP, Strategic Initiatives & Business Development and top management to make economic and investment decisions
* Assist with due diligence, valuation and internal approval processes for M&A opportunities, in coordination with the relevant Group departments
* Support Corporate & Structured Finance Department Manager in capital management and other financial strategy activities in order to optimize cash flows
* Support analysis of different debt financing options
* Arrange, structure and monitor structured finance facilities and prepare analysis on the opportunities contemplated including cash flow and sensitivities analysis
* Support end-to-end activities and liaise with banks to negotiate bank facilities to support trading activities
* Prepare documentation and track legal documents to ensure that all required documents are prepared, properly maintained / filed
* Maintain and support existing domestic and international banking relationships to explore suitable structured commodity finance products such as prepayment facilities, pre-export financing facilities, credit sleeve, inventory monetization and receivables monetization
* Stay abreast of market developments in the commodity structured finance market
* Monitor the company's current investments and expenditures

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, like accounting or business
* Demonstrable track record in the energy space (upstream & downstream O&G, LNG, Carbon)
* 8+ years in Corporate Finance, Investment banking or Structured Finance
* Experience of dealing with banking relationships
* Experience in arranging prepayments, pre-export financing, Reserve Base Lending or O&G Project Finance transactions.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present well, organize thoughts and clearly articulate points and to communicate and propose complex structured financed solutions, including excel based financial models.
