I’m working with a high end residential architecture and interior design studio in Dubai that’s looking to hire a Site Architect to join the team.
The immediate focus is a major private villa project in Dubai. This is a site critical role, responsible for ensuring design intent, quality and technical standards are delivered on site.
The studio delivers private client homes at the highest level and has built a multinational team from leading international architecture and interior design studios. This is a design led practice that takes site delivery seriously.
Job description
• Act as the studio’s primary representative on site
• Manage day to day site coordination with contractors, consultants and suppliers
• Handle RFIs, design queries, inspections, snagging and de snagging
• Ensure architectural and interior design intent is executed correctly on site
• Review shop drawings and material submissions for compliance with design intent
• Monitor quality, workmanship and technical standards throughout construction
• Attend site and client meetings and provide clear technical feedback
• Report back to the studio leadership team on progress, issues and risks
Requirements:
Essential experience• Proven experience working as a Site Architect on high end private residential or luxury villa projects
• Strong site based delivery experience within the Dubai market or comparable international markets
• Excellent understanding of construction detailing and buildability
• Confident dealing with contractors, consultants and private clients
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions on site
• Comfortable working autonomously while representing a design studio
Desirable experience
• Experience working on ultra luxury or bespoke private client villas
• Background in studios delivering integrated architecture and interior design
• Previous experience acting as the lead site architect on a single large scale private residence
Salary:
AED
20,000 to 23,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
