JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the construction activities on a construction site. They ensure that the project is completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with the project specifications and design plans.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the construction activities on site and ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the project plans and specifications
- Monitor progress of construction work and ensure that it is completed within the agreed upon schedule
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project team members to ensure smooth execution of construction activities
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and quality control records
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on the progress of construction work
- Ensure that all materials and equipment used on the site are of the required quality and meet project specifications
- Resolve any construction-related issues that may arise and make necessary changes to plans or schedules to keep the project on track
- Liaise with the project manager to provide regular updates on the project's progress, including any potential delays or issues that may impact the project timeline
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and construction workers on site
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in using construction software and tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to work on site and in varying weather conditions.

Salary:
AED 9,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
