Site Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated site engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a site engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Interpret and implement project plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• UAE professional engineering license.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, regulations, and local construction practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
• UAE national citizenship is required for this position.
