Site Engineer

Job Description

Assists in preparation and implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP). Work closely with Sr. Project Engineer / Construction Manager / Project Manager and understand the scope of work. Prepare site plan and work with Site Planner to identify the crew, material, and resources to execute the job.

Ability to read the drawings and prepare method statements and necessary pre-requisites.

Prepare BOQ/MTO. Ability to perform load calculations for foundations, columns, structures, stanchions and knowledge of electrical and instrument trenches.

Prepare all related material submittals, method of statements, and review all shop drawings whenever required.

Coordinate with HSE team to ensure all work is implemented as per the approved risk assessment and HSE plan.

Ensure all activities are being implemented at site as per approved MSRA.

Ensure all WIRs are submitted on time with no delays.

Coordinate with QC/QS team for reviewing all the monthly payments and ensure all the work done has been reflected on the payment with its approved supporting documents.

Ensure that all assigned work is completed on time and within the agreed budget and schedule.

Attend meetings and communicate effectively with clients, end-users, consultants, and subcontractors (as applicable).

Set out and execute projects in accordance with drawings and specifications. Coordinate and update as-built drawings and submit to end users and clients.

Assist in procurement by analyzing quotations and preparing comparison sheets for technical prices and schedule against budget and project specification. Obtain approval from Procurement Manager. Coordinate materials and assist in logistics, shipment, and receipt at construction site.

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Comply with safety and environmental systems and procedures.

Liaise with client representatives, other professionals within design teams, and main contractors' representatives during construction.

Coordinate with all project-related personnel (onshore and offshore) on day-to-day progress of work activities, procurement, and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• Approved by ADNOC as Site Civil Engineer is preferred.
• Approved Abu Dhabi Municipality SOE (Society of Engineers Member).
• Training of WMS (Work Management System) from ADNOC.
• Proficient in AutoCAD preferable.
• Responsible for the implementation of construction work processes, project procedures, and instructions within assigned operations.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrument trenches.
