Site Engineer Electrical

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee and support the execution of electrical works across a major Six Construct project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installations (LV/MV systems, lighting, power, containment, grounding, etc.) in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Plan daily activities and manage manpower to meet project milestones.
• Prepare material requests and follow up to ensure timely site delivery.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and other trades to avoid service clashes and ensure smooth site progress.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems.
• Ensure electrical works comply with Six Construct's quality, safety standards, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical works within large-scale construction projects (preferably high-rise, infrastructure, industrial, or complex buildings).
• Strong knowledge of installation standards for LV/MV systems, lighting, power distribution, earthing, cabling, and control systems.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and authority requirements, including DEWA, ADDC, Etisalat, Civil Defense, etc.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and preparation of related documentation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Working knowledge of project management tools and MS Office.
