JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a well-known organization is currently looking for a Site Manager for a power system upgrade project in UAE.
Please note that the role is an outsourced and contract position for a year.
• The resource must be able to work alongside the end-user customer as a peer
• Manage site subcontractor I&C resources
• He will have project management/engineering, project control/scheduling support from HPS personnel plus functional support - HSE, QA
• Manage and track daily / weekly workload and progress
• Take all necessary actions to recover any schedule slippages or quality issues with subcontractors
• Attend daily site meetings and present progress and risks
• Drive on-schedule progress with PM and site supervisor personnel; risk mitigation and management
• Ensure 100% site readiness for pre-outage and outage cutover phases due in October - November 2017
• Experience of managing similar site-based projects is mandatory
• Domain knowledge of power plant systems and field equipment is a requirement
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering
• At least 8 – 10 years of experience in Power projects
• Must have site management experience
• Ideal candidate must have experience in project management/engineering, project control/scheduling support from HPS personnel plus functional support - HSE, QA
• Domain knowledge of power plant systems and field equipment is a requirement
• Male candidates preferred
