JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, an international power/energy company is currently looking for a Site Manager for their Power Project in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will work closely with end user and manage the company and subcontractor I & C resources. You will have the function, HSE, QA, project control/scheduling, engineering.
Other responsibilities will include:
• Manage and track daily / weekly workload and progress
• Take all necessary actions to recover any schedule slippages or quality issues with subcontractors
• Attend daily site meetings and present progress and risks
• Drive on-schedule progress with PM and site supervisor personnel; risk mitigation and management
• Ensure 100% site readiness for pre-outage and outage cutover phases due in Oct-Nov 2017
• Experience of managing similar site-based projects is mandatory
• Domain knowledge of power plant systems and field equipment is a requirement
REQUIREMENTS
• Have site management experience as this assignment will be an automation engineering project
• Must be an engineering background
• With at least 2 years’ experience in the same capacity with another power/energy firm
• Willing to work in a contract role for 1 year, outsourced through a registered agent in the UAE
• Can start from May 2017 and work until April 2018
