Our client, an international steel production company based in Abu Dhabi, is currently looking for a Site Manager. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and proper operation and maintenance of all equipment, as well as maintaining a competent work force capable of operating the total facility at optimum production cost levels.
• Establish and maintain product quality and supervises shipment of material to and from the Site at maximum efficiency.
• Maintain a diary of activity.
• Thoroughly investigate and report without delay, any accident involving company personnel or equipment that occurs in the area of responsibility.
• Responsible for the neat appearance of all facilities at the operation.
• Establish and maintain production of materials and inventory stockpiles as dictated by customer requirements.
• Supervise the preparation of periodic reports for the regional and corporate offices.
• Responsible for the implementation and execution of the Site budget/business plan.
• Interact frequently with senior officers of the company.
• Develop and maintain reputation within the company’s as expert in field.
• Work normally-involves routine, scheduled or cyclical activities.
• Act as negotiator or mediator in solution to problems.
• Maintain frequent contact with client mill personnel who directly influence company’s reputation or performance.
