JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Ability to create and install Sitecore packages, including publishing, workflow, custom fields, and media library items.
• Utilize Web API to serve Sitecore data to other clients
• Manage implementation of new site build within existing technology infrastructure
• Implement Sitecore best practices as required
• Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other team members. Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self-learning. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi task.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years solid experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Razor syntax, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SAAS, JQuery and Transact-SQL
• Strong hands-on development experience with a Sitecore WCMS (Sitecore 8 preferred)
• Sitecore XP 8 Developer Certification is a plus
• Experience with Glass Mapper, Castle Windsor preferred
• Experience with use of Sitecore xDB to create personalized user experience
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
