JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead on the concept creation, development and ideation for a range of design needs from across the business, ranging from internal comms collateral/campaigns to more specific business requirements including but not limited to creative visual designs for digital and social media assets.

Job Specific Accountabilities
- Leverage research and insights to drive brand performance and inform creative decisions.
- Ideate and build powerful creative ideas that communicate the brand vision, values and personality across various media and channels.
- Develop brand identities and guidelines that ensure consistency and coherence across every brand touch point.
- Support the team to manage the brand asset library and associated content, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of creative assets to internal and external stakeholders.
- Use wide range of media, including photography and graphic design software to develop graphics layouts, product illustrations, logos, and various corporate communication media.
- Review received design orders by ADNOC management and sets priority of work to be completed.
- Consult with internal clients regarding design needs, deliverable targets and deadlines.
- Collect, organize, and maintain media library assets (images, previous jobs and stock photography items).
- Keep abreast with graphic design and digital media and explore new products.
- Ensure that confidential documents are properly handled and no unauthorized personnel gains access to the information.
- Keep current with the latest digital technology, update new designing software and designing skill by attending seminars and exhibitions.
- Design and produce compelling, consistent and creative assets for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram posts and stories design templates, snapchat templates, YouTube, etc.)
- Interpret content into 2d and 3d designs including infographics, animations and video editing on Adobe Software
- Lead on the concept creation and ideation for a range of design needs from across the business, ranging from internal comms collateral/campaigns to more specific business requirements.
- Use ADNOC's existing wide range of media, including photography from the ADNOC mediahub and graphic design software (namely illustrator and Indesign) to develop or update graphics layouts, product illustrations, company logos, and various corporate communication media.
- Assess and review received design briefs and requests by the Executive Office Directorate and sets priority of work to be completed onto the Asana Job Board
- Coordinate with internal and external clients regarding design needs, deliverable targets and deadlines.
- Collect, organize, and maintain media library assets (images, previous jobs and stock photography items) and ensure they are either uploaded onto the ADNOC MediaHub or the Brand Guidelines in an organized manner
- Assist and conduct quality control measures for digital print jobs and paper stock and reviews the details of the pre-press print product, and ensure all files are artworked correctly, are high res enough and ready for production.
- Make proof copies of art work for clients' approval as well as for printing technicians to be used as guide with digital offset / network printing machine.

- Provide input for preparation of the Division budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

- Implement approved Function policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.

- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Division in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualification- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in graphic design and creative development, preferably in the energy sector or a large and complex organization.
- Strong portfolio of creative work that demonstrates conceptual thinking, creativity and innovation.
- Proficient in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and sell creative ideas to senior management and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure and evaluate brand performance and creative effectiveness.
- Team player, with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of web content management systems.
- Creative and innovative approach to communications with the ability to identify new ways of working and lead the change needed.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ADNOC's operations and various sectors, and ability to lead the delivery of tailored solutions in line with specific business requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
