Specialist General Surgeon

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist General Surgeon to join our team in UAE-Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive surgical care to patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered treatment. Responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of general surgical procedures with precision and expertise, including but not limited to appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, and soft tissue surgeries
- Conducting thorough pre-operative evaluations and consultations with patients to discuss treatment plans, risks, and expected outcomes
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care, including participation in multidisciplinary meetings and consultations
- Providing post-operative care and follow-up to monitor patients' progress and address any complications or concerns
- Adhering to evidence-based practices, clinical guidelines, and quality standards to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and ethical surgical care
- Participating in continuous professional development activities and staying abreast of advancements in surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices
- Maintaining accurate and complete medical records, including surgical notes, patient charts, and relevant documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- Medical degree from a recognized institution and completion of a specialized surgical residency program
- Qualification in General Surgery
- Proven experience as a Specialist General Surgeon, with a strong track record of successful surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in managing complex surgical cases
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to professional integrity, ethical conduct, and continuous quality improvement in surgical practice
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education, training, and participation in professional development activities
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment and contribute to a culture of excellence and teamwork

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
