We're currently looking for an experienced professional to join our Contracts Team as Specialist ICT & Special Contracts based out of Dubai.

The Key Responsibilities of the role are as follows:
• Review and negotiate contract terms, master agreements, NDAs and MoUs with Etisalat’s clients to ensure that the final agreement with Etisalat clients is consistent with the delivery commitment safeguarding revenues and profit targets and reputation.
• Review and negotiate contract terms, master agreements, NDAs and MoUs with vendors to ensure that the final agreement, before the award to vendor, is enforceable and the KPIs/KPOs, technical specifications, legal terms and commercial are aligned to Etisalat business objectives and requirements.
• Participate in tender evaluation committee being the subject matter expert in developing the negotiation strategy and in leading the commercial negotiation in alignment with the negotiation targets agreed with the others members of the tender evaluation committee and under the guidance of the Chairperson to maximize saving achievements and compliance to Etisalat contracts terms before the award.
• Maximize the contract and financial negotiation execution of new commitments with Etisalat vendors to achieve cost reduction safeguarding service performance, quality and company reputation.
• Set up priorities on day-to-day activities with a sense of urgency and able to operate effectively in a changing environment according to the business priorities and objectives set by Contracts’ senior management and Department goals.
• Review vendors’ capabilities to identify commercial vendor-related risks and develop mitigation strategy and promote vendor accountability and cost model that incentivizes vendor performance and discourages bad behavior.
• Research vendors’ capabilities and identify list of preferred vendors; identify vendor-related risks and develop mitigation strategy.
• Promote collaboration between the staff member of the section and with the other departments.
• Creates a work environment recognized for high level of organization, timeless, cost-effectiveness and results driven.
• Promote and leverage on diversity and inclusion; valuing diversity of perspectives and encouraging contribution from all team members.
• Implement and lead an improvement process to anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of the internal customers to meet or exceed their expectations by a continuous assessment of the historical and forecasted spend, the market condition, industry rivalry and trends.
• Promote an organization capable of implementing the direction with a sense of urgency and able to operate effectively in a changing environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Years & Field of Experience:
• Ideally you should be a graduate in Telecommunications or related discipline
• Very good technical knowledge in sourcing, legal practices and contract negotiation.
• Demonstration of strong capabilities in setting up priorities on day-to-day activities with a sense of urgency
• Very good negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Results driven
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of personal drive, motivation and initiative
• Track record of delivery within high change environments
• Experience in working with and managing multinational teams, ideally within the GCC
