JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Provide technical support for all issues related to Transmission Switchgears, impart technical training for employees based on Skill Matrix.
- Review existing procedures and ensure its compliance at site.
- Provide technical support with clear recommendation to the EVP & departments in the respective technical field.
- Coordinate with all concerned departments in the respective technical field in reaching common accepted opinions & recommendations regarding technical issues.
- Participate in investigation of major abnormalities on respective technical field and suggest best possible preventive measures.
- Review & update existing technical procedures & practices & suggest improvements in line with the latest & best internationally accepted practices.
- Arrange regular internal audits and site visits to and ensure their procedures, quality, safety and environmental requirements are complied with and/ or suggest suitable remedial action.
- Study existing and/or expected network bottle necks and follow-up corrective and preventive actions towards their solutions.
- Evaluate staff competency required for the job to be carried out efficiently.
- Identify training required by the staff to improve efficiency.
- Analyze system data of all sorts to identify trends, loopholes, unnoticed abnormalities and report the same with recommended measure.
- Study the possibility of introducing new technology and equipment in order to enhance the performance of transmission assets.
- Coordinate Knowledge Management within the Division respective technical field

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in maintenance of EV/HV network
- Knowledge in technical support for all issues related to transmission switchgear
