JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Preparation, validation and submission of monthly VAT reports and VAT returns for all group companies in compliance with the VAT regulations (all GCC countries).
• Ensuring full compliance with VAT laws (all GCC countries) and regulations by all the group companies.
• Identify the VAT risks, plan remediation action and manage the implementation of the remediation plan and resolution of the risks
• Initiate and complete Corporate Tax Registration with FTA for all UAE entities
• Prepare & review of corporate tax returns and track filing obligations.
• Corporate Tax Administration, planning, Yearly Assessment with Corporate Tax Department & review for GCC countries, USA & UK
• You will review of tax assessments & advances, advise on payments and prepare/ review year-end tax provisions.
• Manage VAT / Corporate Tax audits (FTA, External & Internal), prepare and coordinate appeals to support the tax position taken, and propose and implement appropriate action plan.
• Validation of VAT / Corporate Tax system for new IT configurations due to new changes in VAT / Corporate law, rules and regulations and ensuring minimal manual overlays to adhere to VAT / Corporate law requirements.
• Review terms and conditions in contracts and agreements to determine VAT and Corporate Tax implications & provide inputs from a VAT and Corporate Tax perspective into company strategies, policies and procedures

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

Note: Candidate must have Accounts background work experience and be available in UAE for Immediate joining.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, (CA / ACCA / CMA, will be preferred but not always mandatory) with minimum 4 years’ experience in filing VAT returns in UAE.
• Good data analytics skills (including proficiency in Excel) and problem-solving skills
• Experience in tax regulations (VAT, Custom, ESR Compliance (Economic Substance Regulations), UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Ownership) and Corporate Tax, Statistical declaration to Sharjah Government) and accounting standards
• Knowledge and experience of VAT / Corporate Tax implementation process and ability to advise the Company on the VAT / Corporate Tax transactions
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal skills
