JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:

The design and Branding Manager will support the Associate Director of the Marketing & events team to build and raise visual awareness and new brand development across all corporate and projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing branding strategies
• Develop and execute a comprehensive branding strategy that aligns with the company’s goal and values
• Create visual assets: responsible for creating and managing the visual assets of the brand, such as logos, color schemes, typography, and other graphic elements
• Managing brand guidelines: ensure that all communications and marketing materials adhere to the brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all touchpoints
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that branding efforts align with the overall business strategy
• Conducting market research: analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and innovation
• Manage design projects: lead the design team in creating and delivering high-quality design work that meets business objectives and aligns with the brand which includes but not restricted to: new brand identity, campaigns, branding strategies, onsite branding, Videography, photography, etc..
• Monitoring and reporting: monitor the effectiveness of branding efforts and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders, making recommendations for improvement where necessary
• Meet budget requirements by forecasting and managing expenses
• Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small and large projects, harnessing brand design, copy, art, and digital technology
• Develop internal marketing campaigns that translate objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies
• Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social-media experts, photographers/videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables
• Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production artists
• Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
• Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively
• Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for sophisticated audiences
• Oversee the presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables Engages, educates, and communicate with stakeholder groups and broader team
• Maintain expertise in the latest technologies and techniques
• Review, critique, and guide work generated by the team and creative agency partners
Reporting to: Associate Director, Marketing

REQUIREMENTS

• Design skills: strong understanding of design principles, and be able to create and critique designs in a variety of mediums, including print, digital, and video
• Brand strategy: develop a strong brand strategy that aligns with the company's goals and values, and effectively communicates its unique selling proposition to the target audience
• Marketing and advertising: strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, including market research, target audience analysis, and campaign management
• Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential for a design and brand manager, as they will need to collaborate with other departments, vendors, and clients to ensure that design and branding efforts are on track and aligned with overall business objectives
• Project management: Strong project management skills are also important, as the manager will need to oversee multiple design and branding projects simultaneously while ensuring that timelines and budgets are met
• Creative thinking: A design and brand manager should have a strong ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to design and branding challenges.
