Sr. Quantity Surveyor - Villa Fit Out & Joinery

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and send enquiries to subcontractors/suppliers pre and post tendering to clients
- Preparation of BOQ and variation for the villa fit-out works independently
- Procure site material & managing order quantities and documenting liaising with procurement team
- Coordinate with site teams and designing department for the implementation of work as per the approved scope of work.
- Preparation and updating of standard cost databases and profiles of sub-contractors/suppliers
- To carry out instructions issued by Directors, Quantity Surveyor and Operations Manager.
- Receive and analyse vendors quotations, liaising with Site Project Managers and quantity surveyor regarding price, availability, deliveries etc.
- Select and negotiate for the best purchases from suppliers and coordinate with sub-contractors to get a better price and quality delivery
- Coordinate with operations assistant for the preparation and issuing of purchase orders
- Preparation of supplier and sub-contractor’s database
- Liaise with quantity surveyor and prepare master list based on the vendors.
- General control of variations, required change orders and inform the QS team
- Handle pre and post contract administration
- Carry out reconciliation of cost and value to date/forecast to keep the management team informed of project performance

Requirements:

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
