JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a large luxury retail company is currently looking for a Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant who will be based in their factory in Sharjah. The person will work 6 days in a week and will be provided with a company accommodation and transportation.
The responsibilities will include:
• Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
• Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
• Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
• Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
• Must be a diploma / degree holder
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in the same role
• Must have an experience in using WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Must be willing to be based in Sharjah
• Must be willing to stay at the company's accommodation
