JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A leading multinational Engineering Consultancy is looking to urgently hire a Structural Design Engineer to join an expanding team. The projects will be solely structural and building works and a successful candidate will be expected to have clear experience working with an engineering consultancy on similar projects.
Job Title: Structural Design Engineer
Salary: Up to 15,000 AED/Month as a package.
Location: Dubai
As Structural Design Engineer/ Civil Engineer you will be a key member of the team and will be expected to perform the following duties:
-Take responsibility for various engineering tasks ensuring the completion of associated calculations and analysis
-Liaise with material and equipment providers
-Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on projects
-Review bid analyses and make recommendations
-Serve as Project Engineer and as a designated client contact on smaller projects
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be successful in your application for this position, you should have attained or demonstrated the following:
-Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
-Proficiency in writing and checking of design reports and calculation sheets
-Preparation of procurement data sheets and material and fabrication specifications
-Demonstrate a knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design construction techniques, risk assessment, claim assessment and procurement techniques
