Structural Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of new buildings and structures. The role requires a strong understanding of construction and design principles, as well as the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning the layout of structures, including high-rise buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities
- Analyzing blueprints and specifications to ensure that the structure meets safety and building code requirements
- Collaborating with architects and construction teams to develop cost-effective and efficient construction methods
- Conducting on-site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed construction plans and models
- Performing structural analysis to determine the integrity and strength of existing structures
- Preparing technical reports and documentation for regulatory approvals and client review

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
- Proven experience in structural engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools
- Excellent understanding of construction and building codes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
