Structural Engineer

Job Description

GK International is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer (SP3D) for a 6-month contract in Dubai with potential for extension. This role focuses on offshore engineering design for various support systems, offering exposure to international projects and collaboration with experienced teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct 3D modeling in SP3D for ceiling, wall, and floor support systems.
• Perform 2D detailing for structural layouts including UNISTRUT systems and cable tray supports.
• Integrate TEKLA/IFS models into SP3D-compatible formats for project execution.
• Review engineering specs, resolve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Prepare documentation and deliverables, participate in technical meetings, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of SP3D modeling experience, particularly in offshore or LER support systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SP3D, and 2D layout tools; familiarity with TEKLA, Navisworks, or PDS is a bonus.
• Knowledge of offshore module design standards and UNISTRUT support structures.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
