JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career?

We are seeking a talented professional to a dynamic team in the vibrant city of Dubai, focusing on Concrete Repair and Rehabilitation projects across the Middle East.

You will be needed to identify structural problems, design effective repair solutions, and implement projects for clients in commercial, industrial, power generation, and other key markets.

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll dive into hands-on work, performing field investigations and crafting innovative repair strategies for existing structures and buildings.

We’re looking for someone with a solid grasp of concrete structure design and behaviour, particularly regarding industrial facilities, power generation buildings, dynamic equipment foundations, and liquid-retaining structures.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Leading engineering projects and managing teams of engineers, drafters, and technicians.
• Analysing field data to guide repair design and troubleshooting.
• Performing and reviewing analyses, balancing hand calculations with finite element software.
• Preparing client deliverables such as construction drawings, specifications, and reports.

Requirements:

Do you match?
• Qualifications: A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE), or a recognized equivalent.
• Experience: At least 10 years in the field, with a Master’s or PhD in civil or structural engineering.
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of concrete deterioration mechanisms and repair design, along with experience using Finite Element Analysis Software like SAP2000, RISA, or STAAD.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software, and a meticulous approach to technical accuracy in design.
• Passion: A curiosity for problem-solving and a solid understanding of structural behaviour.

Salary:
AED 40,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
