JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Guildhall is currently looking for a Technical Manager - Lead Structural Engineer to join an international contracting company for a major infrastructure project in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and review structural design for substructures and foundations of airport buildings.
- Validate reinforced concrete (RC) calculations, bar bending schedules, and reinforcement detailing.
- Act as the technical authority for all structural works on the project.
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with international design codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.).
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve structural issues and optimize designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.- 8+ years of structural engineering experience, focusing on substructure and superstructure.
- Hands-on experience with RC design, foundation systems, and reinforcement detailing.
- Proficient in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, AutoCAD, and preferably Revit.
- Experience in large building or infrastructure projects is a plus.
