Qualification and experience required

Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in cost analysis, especially in oil & gas sector

GCC experience: 7+ years of experience in subcontract engineering within the oil & gas sector

Proficient in contract law, negotiation techniques and risk management

Experience in EPC project planning and cost estimation

UAE experience is preferred, strong cost analysis, negotiation, communication skills

Familiarity with EPC projects, offshore/onshore operations and relevant contracting standards

Master's degree

Tasks

Source, evaluate, and manage subcontractors/vendors, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring

Support market/bidding activities: collaborate with the marketing team to prepare competitive bids, obtain subcontractor quotations, and provide cost estimates

Analyze project requirements, align subcontractor deliverables with timelines, and resolve technical/operational issues

Ensure compliance in subcontracting agreements, documentation, and industry standards

Track market trends and optimize subcontracting costs

Familiarity with bid processes and project management tools

Review, analyze, and evaluate subcontractor bids for technical and commercial compliance

Participate in subcontract negotiations and finalization of contractual terms and conditions

Monitor subcontractor performance and manage changes, claims, and disputes

Maintain documentation and reports related to subcontracting activities

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards for bid evaluation and progress tracking
