JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Supply chain manager role is to plan, manage and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of supplies.
Moreover manage and lead warehouse activities, logistics and suppliers performance.
Maintain adequate stock levels. Achieve cost reduction through high stocks turnover, negotiation and achievement of most competitive pricing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree, in business, industrial engineering or supply chain.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Generate demand forecasts
- Establish supply schedules and communicate requirements with internal and external customers.
- Ensure and maintain adequate stocks levels
- Control costs,
- Plan and optimize stock levels.
- Schedule and ensure timely dispatches and deliveries
- Monitor supply chain employees performance. Namely, warehouse and purchasing
- Establish metrics for quality, cost and delivery performance.
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Minimum three years experience as supply chain manager
