Supply Chain Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain and procurement process to ensure efficient and seamless operations. The Supply Chain & Procurement Manager will handle demand planning, supply management, inventory control, and procurement functions, contributing to the company's strategic goals and maintaining optimal stock levels.

Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure smooth and timely availability of products.
• Manage demand forecasting to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize stock shortages or excesses.
• Oversee procurement operations, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management, to ensure cost-effective sourcing and high-quality supplies.
• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure the availability of products while minimizing waste or overstock.
• Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, product prices, and vendor offerings to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and logistics, to ensure alignment between demand, stock levels, and distribution.
• Analyze and report on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for the foodstuff trading industry.

Requirements:

Job Requirements:
• Minimum 3-4 years of supply chain experience in Dubai, preferably within the foodstuff or trading industry.
• Strong demand planning and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in supply management and inventory control practices.
• Excellent procurement and vendor negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in both English and Russian is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• This position requires a Russian female candidate due to specific market needs and customer interactions.
