JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled, professional, and discreet tailor to join a VIP family’s household. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, altering, and maintaining clothing for women, offering a personalized service that meets the family’s unique preferences and high standards. As a Personal Tailor, you will ensure the wardrobe is meticulously curated, and garments are altered to perfection for various occasions. The role requires a keen eye for detail, an understanding of current fashion trends, and the ability to maintain utmost confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
• Custom Clothing Creation: Design and create bespoke clothing tailored to the family's specific needs, ensuring the highest standards of quality and fit.
• Alterations and Repairs: Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments on garments to ensure a perfect fit, comfort, and style for all family members.
• Wardrobe Consultation: Assist with curating the family’s wardrobe, offering styling advice and guidance on the latest fashion trends and season’s must-haves.
• Special Occasions: Prepare and provide clothing for special events, ensuring every garment fits perfectly and is suitable for the occasion.
• Garment Maintenance: Manage the care and maintenance of family clothing, including dry cleaning coordination, pressing, and storing items appropriately.
• Fabric and Material Selection: Advise on the selection of fabrics and materials based on family preferences, events, and comfort.
• Personalized Service: Develop strong relationships with family members, understanding their preferences and styles to ensure continued satisfaction.
• Confidentiality: Handle all aspects of the family’s wardrobe with the highest level of confidentiality, ensuring discretion at all times.
• Regular Fittings: Schedule and conduct regular fittings, ensuring garments fit the family members at all times, adjusting as necessary for changes in size or preferences.
Requirements:
Qualifications :• Proven experience as a tailor, with a portfolio of high-end or bespoke work, preferably in a VIP or celebrity setting.
• Expertise in both hand-sewing and machine tailoring.
• Knowledge of fashion design and garment construction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a keen sense of style.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• A degree or certification in fashion design or tailoring is preferred.

Salary:
AED
3,000 to 5,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
