Talent & Culture Manager - Novotel Dubai Health Care City

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Lead and oversee the day to day operation of the Talent & Culture department as well as play a critical role in the implementation of the hotel’s Talent & Culture strategy
• Assess organizational needs, develop aligned HR solutions and implement strategies in the areas of employee relations, compensation and benefits, recognition, administration and Colleague wellness
• Promote positive Colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun
• Assist Departmental Leaders and Senior Managers with the development of specific action plans to address issues and concerns identified in Colleague feedback
• Effectively manage the annual department budget
• Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Follow all safety policies
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous HR leadership experience essential
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications essential
• UAE Labor Law experience essential
• Previous hospitality experience essential
• Pre-opening experience preferred
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all time
