JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Main responsibilities:
- To ensure the management and day to day running of the class
- Daily risk assessments of the class
- To ensure all class TA’s are trained and aware of the policies and procedures
- To work in developing and implementing the operational plan in the class
- Planning and preparation of activities of the class
- Following the EYFS curriculum
- To develop quality communication with parents
- Handling class events
- Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery
- Working toward targets
- Reporting to: Manager
- Objectives: Nursery Teacher
- Desired start date: Immediately
REQUIREMENTS
- University Qualifications: Degree in Early Childhood / Education
- Other certifications obtained: Other specialization, provided that it is accompanied by a certified professional certificate in Early Childhood (level 3)
- Nature and length of previous experience: 2 years experience in early childhood or education.
- Specialist knowledge: Knowledge of the curriculum and policies and procedures related to the care and protection of children.
- Gender Preference: Female
- Language Fluency: English
