JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Technical Consultant with duties relating to both service delivery (primary function) and pre-sales (secondary function)
• Manager service delivery according to established procedures for the customers in the region
• Handling issues and concerns being raised by customer
• Perform on-site interventions or scripting work according to work order, which includes and not limited to new delivery, on-site support, training, systems upgrade, etc.
• Lead technical customer workshops; Conduct customer product training and workshops
• Responsible for supporting the sales function in a client-facing role by understanding customer objectives and translating them into solutions comprising InfoVista’s proven, award winning products & solutions
• Prepare and assist sales managers in customer meetings with technical expertise, presentations, product demos and trials, answer technical parts of customer RFQs and RFPs
• Recommend and tailor technical argumentation and technical pre-sales activities to advance sales opportunities
• Participate in workshops with product specialist and act as a technical expert regarding questions about future technical requirements on the product from the market.
• Assist in definition, management and delivery of Network Planning, Optimization and Testing services
• Organize and conduct product trials together with customers on site
• Support sales team in general in matters concerning products and their technical capabilities
REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ experience in mobile telecommunications, with a minimum 3-5 years’ hands-on experience in RF network planning &/or testing optimization
• Solid technical background from RF engineering, network planning & optimization or R&D in relevant area
• Excellent knowledge in mobile communication standards & radio access technology (LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA)
• Excellent knowledge about the Infovista offerings including technical features, benefits and product packaging
• Good network within the telecom community
• Good knowledge about competitor offerings and their unique technical features
• Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Very good reporting and problem solving skills
• Perseverance in achieving the team's goals; result oriented; attention to detail
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the MENA region to provide on-site technical support and training (note this role requires the flexibility, ability and willingness to travel 75% of the time)
• A self-starter and strong self-control skills; ability to work both independently or member of a team
• Fluent in English & French (oral & written) is a mandatory requirement; additional languages an advantage
