Technical Consultant – Presales – Cloud Services
ActiveCloud is looking to hire a Technical Consultant to represent our organization in customer-facing communication across MENA countries.
Main responsibilities
Partner Network Management:
– Coordinate partner network and process partnerships (sending invitation materials, invoices, partner agreements, and tracking relationships progress)
– Manage relationships and communications with existing partners and resellers
– Work with senior staff to implement strategic improvements to our partnership program
Consulting:
– Interviewing customers to discover their business challenges
– Demonstrations of the product (cloud platform), both standard and tailored to suspects and prospects
– Generation of product demo scripts and scenarios
– Responding in writing to customer requirements
– Assisting customers with proof-of-concept setup / business case development and usage of the products
– Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents
– Meeting customers and delivering product centric presentations
– Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
Project Management:
– Provide Project Management support for projects brought by partners
– Work with virtual team of developers and project coordinator based in Belarus
– Report project progress to client and senior management
– Assure all stage of project management process are properly followed
– Advice clients on change management planning
REQUIREMENTS
Key Competencies:
– Understanding the market of cloud solutions
– Strong passion for IT
– Strong communication and presentation skills
– Ability to talk with different audiences, appropriately adjust technical content to meet different audience knowledge and interest, and can juggle meetings with multiple audience levels. Presales Technical Consultant will be addressing all levels of customers, from CxO to engineer, and must be able to speak both to the business benefits of the products, as well as the technical details of the products and implementation.
Interpersonal Competencies:
– BS Computer Science or equivalent
– 5+ years field experience (virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, XEN, orchestration: OpenStack, CloudStack, Linux/Windows Server OS)
– Ability to travel 30% of working time – within UAE and across MENA countries
– High standards of performance for oneself
– PMP certification is preferred
– ITIL V3 is preferred
– Arabic language is preferred
