JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Technical Maintenance Specialist to manage and maintain various critical components within our installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of it and av equipment, intricate light fixtures, and sophisticated software systems. This role requires a deep understanding of complex hardware and software, as well as a proactive approach to swiftly resolve any technical challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on projectors, computers, and monitors enclosed in specialized metal cases, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Calibrate and fine-tune light fixtures to meet the required standards and provide optimal lighting conditions.
- Manage software updates and troubleshoot any software-related issues to ensure seamless operation.
- Coordinate closely with the installation team to provide technical expertise during the setup and configuration phases.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize the risk of equipment failure and downtime.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source specialized parts and equipment necessary for repair and replacement tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repair procedures and any hardware or software modifications.

Requirements:

- knowledge in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in handling complex technical maintenance, particularly with projectors, computers, monitors within specialized metal cases, and intricate light fixtures.
- Advanced proficiency in software troubleshooting and updates, with a deep understanding of operating systems and software integration.
- Expertise in utilizing specialized tools and equipment for in-depth hardware diagnostics and repairs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes and stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
