JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client, a well-known event management company is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team, and take a lead role on the technical production across a wide range of events from brief through to delivery. This is an integral role within the organization and you will play a lead across a range of their events.
As a Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for:
• Meeting with clients and understanding their event requirements
• Managing projects from brief through to on-site delivery
• Carrying out site visits
• Putting together technical specification
• Producing quotes
• CAD drawings
• Managing event logistics; booking and scheduling kit, crew and transportation
• Managing an reporting on budget
• Overseeing event on-site
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the role you must have a strong technical production understanding from within the events industry. They are looking for candidates who come from a production company, AV supplier or a large scale multi-purpose venue. This is a busy and fast-paced environment so the ideal candidates should be a team player, can work under pressure and who have sharp attention to detail.
