Position Overview:

As a Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our OTT platform to deliver high-quality streaming services to our users.

Responsibilities:
Platform Maintenance and Monitoring:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the OTT platform and ensure its reliability and performance.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot technical issues, and promptly resolve any platform-related problems.
• Implement proactive measures to prevent service interruptions and optimize platform performance.

Content Management and Delivery:
• Collaborate with content delivery teams to ensure seamless ingestion, transcoding, and delivery of video and audio content to users.
• Manage content metadata, ensuring accurate information is displayed to users on the platform.

Technology Stack Management:
• Possess a deep understanding of the OTT platform's technology stack, including video streaming protocols, content delivery networks (CDNs), DRM, and encoding systems.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades or changes to the technology stack to enhance platform capabilities and user experience.

Security and DRM:
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect against piracy, unauthorized access, and content theft.
• Oversee the Digital Rights Management (DRM) implementation to secure content distribution and compliance with licensing agreements.

Platform Integration:
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate third-party systems and services into the OTT platform.
• Ensure seamless API integrations and interoperability with various components of the ecosystem.

Performance Optimization:
• Analyze platform performance data and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
• Work closely with the development team to implement performance improvements.

User Support and Issue Resolution:
• Respond to user inquiries and issues related to the OTT platform promptly and professionally.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and content partners.

Quality Assurance:
• Conduct rigorous testing of new features, updates, and enhancements to ensure they meet quality standards and work as intended.
