JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Role Synopsis
As a trainer the ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver professional high quality technical trainings to clients based on their requirements whether project related / standardized. The Trainer will be able to develop and prepare all course teaching materials and visual aids. This will also include any course reference materials and/or student workbooks. Maintain electronic and hard copy of all individual training records and to provide accurate reports as and when required.
The Training Specialist / Trainer will also be involved in the Sales and Business Development of the business unit, including client visits, development of key account plans and targeted strategies for existing and potential clients, new markets etc.
In addition this position will require an individual with the ability to prepare curriculum to enhance operator knowledge and skills with an understanding of basic theory, equipment operations, systems operations, process, safety considerations, technical knowledge and specific training for projects / bespoke training.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is preferred

Experience essential:

Development of training and testing programs

Oil & gas production operations experience

Operations safety training experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in developing training aids, such as manuals and handbooks

Experience presenting training techniques with

Knowledge in training mythologies

Able to complete competency assessments

It is preferred that candidates are bilingual – Arabic and English

Understanding of control systems, pressure handling, chemical injections and sampling
