JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
A global law firm based in the DIFC, are seeking a Legal Administrator to cover a 4–6-month period of maternity leave. The firm’s expertise is spread across a broad span of business disciplines and major industries from healthcare to education, and they have a presence in the majority of the world’s continents from the USA to China. As a Legal Administrator for the Dubai office, the successful candidate will report to the Senior EA Manager and you will be responsible for providing all legal documentation and administrative support to those at a Senior Associate and Junior level.
You will work alongside the core legal secretarial team to ensure all deadlines are met, sharing the daily workload. Duties will include typing of MOUs, POAs, preparation of court documents and bundles, indexes, and case file updates on the internal systems. You will work to a very high level of discretion and confidentiality with exceptional attention to detail at all times. The role will also include scheduling of meetings, conference calls and some aspects of diary management and travel. This is a very diverse role and therefore at times you may be asked to cover such duties as receptionist and ad hoc support to other departments as per the needs of the business on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
In order to be successful, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within the global legal sector and possess a proven ability in the preparation of all documentation across a varied range of legal disciplines. Therefore, those with advanced skills in MS Office are required. Candidates will also be excellent communicators in the English language, to near native standard in both their reading and writing capabilities. You should work well within a team, but equally be able to work alone and have a flexible approach to your day-to-day tasks.
