Travel Consultant - Al Futtaim Travel - Al Futtaim Group - Dubai

AF Travels core business is Corporate, Retail, Holidays, Hotels, Car Hire, Cruises and MICE; but in the past years we have diversified into online booking, and have created our own online booking tool called Get my trip.

AF Travel ranks among the top ten travel agencies in Dubai and are looking into expanding their local presence to other parts in the Middle East.

They are part of the ITP group, which is a global travel management company, and ranked among the top five, which is competition in the likes of American Express, Carlson Wagon lite and HRG.

They are also having implants in multinational companies acquired through the Travel management company ITP.

Al Futtaim travel is the General sales agents for Japan Airline and Brussels Airline and also Jazeera Airways.

Job Purpose:
The Travel Co-coordinator is required to be accommodating, confident and capable of interacting with Corporate Client. To provide superior customer service as well as maintain a consistently high quality of travel services to ensure all after office hours enquiries are responded to in a professional way.. Team player, GDS knowledge, product knowledge, IT literate, excellent English communication verbal/written skills. Responding to all complaints working as a team, achieving assigned sales targets, assisting colleagues and completing all reporting on time.

Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain high level of customer service with client.
- Keep yourself up-to-date on al alfuttaim clients and businesses, and provide feedback on how this service can be improved or enhanced by providing feedback to supervisors/branch managers.
- Dealing with client complaints and an ability to provide satisfactory solutions maintain a log and follow the SOP.
- Selling preferred carriers as well as travel related services, such as car hire, hotel, and travel insurance.
- Ensure all reporting is completed on a daily basis in the agreed format and time scale.
- Meeting Al- Futtaim standards at all time.

Job Context:
Strictly follow company travel policy.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelors degrees or equivalent
- Diploma in Travel and Tourism, IATA Basic/Advanced fares and ticketing and or equivalent

Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience

Job-Specific Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel
- Excellent command of both written and spoken Arabic and English
- Basic Industry knowledge
