JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Venture Search are partnered with a Dubai based Asset Management firm looking for an experienced Middle East Treasury Manager with in particular experience working with Fixed Income products and Sukuks.
Responsibilities:
• Assessing Risk, liquidity management, hedging and structuring of treasury products, managing cash flow
• Supervising treasury and cash management operations including cash positioning, cash reporting and forecasting, short-term investing, debt management, payments and fraud prevention, FX and financial risk management (incl. hedging)
• Meeting Corporate Treasury requirements through banking partner evaluations, cash management strategies, and FX/risk analysis to deliver the most cost effective, scalable, and secure banking service
• Staying up to date and monitoring all current invested firms.
• Initializing and managing Fixed Income dealing, Money Market dealing/ FX dealing & trading, Swaps, Options, FX Forwards, Securities and other derivatives.
• Working directly with CFO on cash flow budgeting, planning and balance sheet forecasting along with internal and external audit.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate:
• Approx 5-10 years in the Treasury operations sector with experience in the middle east.
• Excellent knowledge of fixed income products and Sukuks
• Clear communicator and able to articulate ideas directly with CFO
• Degree in relevant subject & preference will be given to those who are CTA or equivalent qualified
This role would suit someone who is a new Head of Treasury OR currently a Deputy Treasurer looking to make the next step in their careers within a growing and exciting company. Experience within the UAE and a good understanding of the asset management field will be essential.
