Description

* Approve department budgets to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and plans
* Adopt international best practices for policies, regulations, methodologies, and work systems
* Prepare and implement an integrated plan for government excellence and initiatives within the department
* Develop policies, processes, and systems for managing excellence in coordination with relevant authorities
* Manage the department's intellectual property system to increase the number of intellectual property and implement innovation and knowledge management policies to enhance readiness for innovation and knowledge maturity
* Manage the benchmarking system, analyse results, and provide technical support to departments
* Develop systems, strategies, policies, programs, and tools related to innovation and knowledge management systems based on international best practices for implementation and sustainability
* Support work teams in implementing excellence systems and evaluating institutional performance
* Train and support candidates for excellence awards to meet standards
* Implement Dubai Government Excellence Program nomination plan
