JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon Specialist / Consultant to join our medical team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with vascular conditions, conducting surgeries, and collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage patients with vascular conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis, and aneurysms
- Perform surgical procedures including endovascular interventions, bypass surgeries, and amputations as necessary
- Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups to monitor patient progress and recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, radiologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in vascular surgery and contribute to research and academic activities
- Participate in teaching and mentoring junior medical staff and students
Salary:
AED
45,000 to 95,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
REQUIREMENTS
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of residency in general surgery and fellowship in vascular surgery
- Board certification in vascular surgery
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of vascular conditions
- Excellent surgical skills and ability to perform complex vascular procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide patient education
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and contribution to academic and research activities
