JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Software Knowledge:
• Experience with simulation and VFX software like Nuke, FumeFX, Houdini, Maya, Max, etc.
• Compositing/Editing knowledge with software like After Effects, Nuke, Fusion, Photoshop, etc.).
• Relevant 2D and 3D software experience in applications such as Photoshop, After Effects, Maya, Max, Houdini, Substance Designer.
Additional Requirements (Skillset):
• Deep understanding of principles of VFX with ability to clearly discuss modern trends.
• Knowledge of the rules of design that are emphasis, balance and alignment, contrast, repetition, proportion, movement and white space and an eye for timing, weight, realism, colour, soundtrack selection and energy.
• Deep understanding of particle systems and ability to create all required art assets needed for particle effects and level atmospherics.
• Ability to identify compositing issues (black levels, key edges, tracks, roto, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Criteria:
Previous Work Experience:
• Experience in enhancing animations for musicians, artists, and corporate clients is an advantage.
• A portfolio demonstrating your expertise in creating visually stunning and emotionally impactful content is required.
Additional qualifications:
• Experience in a secondary area such as texturing, modelling, rigging, scripting, animation, or lighting.
• Experience in digital painting
• An education or interest in real world lighting and photography/videography
• Knowledge of photography and videography.
• Expertise in VR, AR, and MR technologies.
• Expertise in AI and Machine Learning.
• Knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, Python, and C/C++ (desirable).
• Proficiency in coding in Python.
