JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

45-50k Dirhams per month - Emirati National

- Work closely with Head - Human Resources and Department Head to identify gaps in Knowledge, Skills and Competencies, and publish an Annual road map for all Training & Development and Retention programs and initiatives at an organizational level
- Maintain an understanding of relevant best practices in Training and Development and build the Section towards those benchmarks, including progressing on developing along a Competency-based framework
- Work with Head – HR to finalize the organizational level Budget for Training & Development / Retention / Employee Engagement related activities.
- Work with Department Head to define a strategy for delivery of all types of Learning and Development programs that are targeted at the individual Company employee and are relevant to the current business needs, including:
- Identification and approval of programs designed for professional development
- Identification and approval of programs intended personal growth and capability development
- Correspondence requests and related interactions for secondment programs and opportunities
- Scholarship programs for current and future Company employees
- Work with Head – Human Resources and Department Head to develop and put in place
- Succession Planning for critical and key roles identified by Company management
- Career Development Paths and Plans
- Initiatives designed to identify and groom High Potential talent into future leaders

REQUIREMENTS

- 8 to 10 years of relevant functional experience in Human Resources. Ideally part as a Generalist and part specialized in Training & Development.
- Knowledge of Competency frameworks and Certifications in coaching & mentoring will be a definite advantage
- As a minimum, Bachelors in a Human Resources related field such as HR Management or Psychology. Certifications from recognized HR related entities, such as CIPD / CHRP are an asset
- Bilingualism in English and Arabic desirable
