JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Develop and maintain 'Compliance monitoring Program' for the organization by developing risk assessments, drafting compliance monitoring framework and identifying high regulatory compliance areas.
- Inform other management and executives on risky compliance areas (regulations and policies) which may pose risk for non-adherence.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action accordingly.
- Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and implement corrective action.
- Liaise with Stakeholders across the board to ensure adherence with applicable regulations and rules.
- Present quarterly and annual reports on the Compliance Program to the Compliance to the Board of Directors.
- Implement and maintain Compliance Management Software.
- Assist the Head of Legal and Compliance in any escalations taking place and provide action plans.
REQUIREMENTS
- UAE passport holder
- Bachelors Degree within 'Compliance' or relevant area
- 10 years + experience working within a Compliance position
- 5 years + experience working at Managerial Level
- Sound understanding of the Financial Market
- Background within Finance and Banking (Preferred not essential)
