The Role

To oversee the day to day operation of all technical aspects of the PKI in accordance with established policies and procedures. Validate and execute on business continuity plans. Ensure infrastructure operates efficiently and effectively, and is staffed appropriately to meet the demands of current and potential customers.

In this role, you will:

- Builds, develops and manages PKI operational capabilities including resource allocations, skills maintenance and ensuring training and certifications match business requirements
- Generate new ideas and new ways to accomplish the operational objectives of the PKIs
- Participate in the triage of potential security incidents, participate in the resolution of incidents including working with internal staff and external consultants
- Motivates and leads PKI Operations Managers; attracts recruits and retains required operational personnel
- Ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained throughout the Section
- Work with the Department leadership to oversee workload, conduct performance evaluations and sign off on reward, recognition and career guidance along with necessary disciplinary actions as appropriate
- Review the manning and training requirements of the team and communicate those requirements to the Department leadership
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
- Lead discussions to define operational policies and procedures with internal and external clients that are in keeping with DM PKI operations and protocols
- Manages and continuously improves standards, processes, operating procedures and contributes to the growth and use of the knowledge library
- Supervise implementation and adherence to agreed procedures to create a secure environment from a PKI Services perspective
- Implement and enforce all security requirements for the PKI Services and related Applications.
