Roles and Responsibilities:
• Very comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, including all departments, services, outlets and Dubai
• Is a source of information, help and assistance to all guests and colleagues
• Ensures that main driveway looks immaculately clean at all times
• Ensures that all guest are attended in time and avoiding potential complaints by acting pro-active and demonstrate a caring demeanour
• Ensures to alert management in case of unusual high business volume and/or guest complaints
• Ensure safe and secure working conditions for guests and colleagues
• Adhere to all standards for welcome and farewell procedures
• To be aware of all fire prevention and safety regulations and procedures at all times
• To report all emergency calls immediately to the management
• Manages the arrivals of large coaches and stretch limousines
• Ensure that all guest luggage is handled swiftly and safely
• Ensure that standards are always maintained and improved at all times
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the management
Requirements:
Essential:• Physical Fitness, must be able to stand for extended time
• Preferred previous experience as Doorman/Bell Attendant
• Handling guest complaints at highest service levels
• Dealing with high profile guests
• Knowledge of Dubai
• Secondary School degree
• Good communication skill
Desirable:
• 2 years’ experience in a five star hotel in the Middle East
