JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Wholesale Executive is responsible for the development and performance of distribution channels: wholesale, ecommerce and travel retail for Ralph Lauren throughout the Middle East region, based on pre-defined objectives, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow all relevant commercial policies, processes and SOPs so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Manage wholesale accounts and implement activities under minimal supervision.
• Follow up on key projects ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
• Escalate complex problems to the management to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in timely a manner.
• Prepare the yearly budget (internal) and by season based on analysis (quantitative) and market trends and feedback and insights (qualitative) – ensure growth of wholesale accounts is achieved ahead of forecast.
• Lead the development of country specific strategies and plans dependent on the competitive environment.
• Propose new business development opportunities for the brand.
• Solve all problems related to the commercial, logistic and marketing side of Ralph Lauren (goods to be returned, quality problems, payments).
• Follow up the sales versus targets, versus budget with the brands.
• Grow existing accounts. Proactively manage all wholesale accounts to ensure optimum performance meeting/exceeding the forecast/budget.
• Develop yearly business plan with each key account, monitor performance, take necessary action.
• Order, manage stock, suggest retail pricing to the client/ partners.
• Follow up with accounting on all outstanding commissions.
• Follow up on credit collection and overdue invoices settlement.
• Check and maintain high quality merchandising of all outlets and study the market condition, competition and opportunities.
• Propose new point of sales in terms of location, profitability, exposure and market share.
• Present the new products and collections to clients.
• Gain new accounts/business.
• Approach new clients, seek new accounts to ensure dynamic growth of the brand.
• Propose new business development opportunities.
• Issue a consolidation report of qualitative info per brand /per supplier /per country.
• Issue a monthly sales report per country/agent and commercial line, in order to evaluate and analyze strategies and position of the brand.
• Issue a seasonal detailed report summarizing the positive and negative points, achievement vs. budget, etc. including feedback from clients.
• Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when required.
• Responsible for reports like OTB achievements, Sell Out Report, Sell Thru Report, Detailed monthly sales reports, RL.ECOM LW/MTD/YTD reports.
• Time management between accounts and departments – prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
• Support line manager in maintaining agreed terms and to build the business.
• Cross-departmental collaboration (Marketing, Logistics, Finance, IT).
• Checking orders at each stage (from preplan to order creation) to maintain and grow business levels.
• Preparing seasonal market materials for accounts and orders for the brand as per agreed timelines.
• Maintaining OTB tracker, by season and partners.
• Preparing and analysing monthly product sales reports of RL.ECOM.
• Regular monitoring of the websites by ensuring an appropriate customer journey of the brand, reporting technical issues, incorrect shopping journeys, content errors and Offering solutions, suggestions to improve the brand representation and sales.

Requirements:
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant.
• Experience in luxury retail or premium fashion environment.
• Strong business acumen, great negotiator and customer centric.
• Knowledge of ecommerce business models, tools and technologies to support business growth.
• Proficient in MS excel.
• Exceptional communication in English and Arabic, relationship-building, and organized
